Bowl. Large conical clay vessel, rounded bottom, straight slightly tapering spout; widest about 4/5 of the height where walls begin to narrow toward the center. Just below the rim are two parallel horizontal shallow lines. Made of Nile clay NB2 Vienna System. Surface leveled and covered with a layer of red engobe; vessel color dark red. Reconstructed from original fragments with losses, including significant fragments of the rim, filled in with plaster. Dated end of ST.P beginning of 1st OP? Old Kingdom, c. 2686–2181 BC.
