Made of Nile clay NB. Surface smooth; outer surface finished to about half its height with a knife or similar tool; rather indistinct cord impression around the widest diameter of the belly. Light red color. Chipped rim and traces of salting across the surface. Comparative typology: type II–III, Old Kingdom ca. 2686–2181 BC. Dimensions: height 24.9 cm; rim diameter 10.3 cm; body diameter 24.2 cm.
