The diameter of the rim is smaller than the diameter of the vessel's shoulders. Clay probably NB1. Surface leveled and covered with a layer of engobe, then polished. Vessel color: red. Complete vessel, very well preserved. c. 2686–c. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom, Edfu. Vessel. Height 4.2 cm; diameter rim 21.1 cm; diameter shoulders 21.1 cm., A shallow rounded bowl with a worn, textured surface in terracotta tones of reddish-brown and orange, showing lighter patches and scuffed areas; the bowl has a slightly raised rim and subtle horizontal tool marks, photographed against a uniform mid-gray background.
