Medum type bowl. Medum type bowl with characteristic carination under the rim. Rounded bottom. Straight rim, slightly flaring. Narrow, sloping shoulders. The diameter of the rim is smaller than the diameter of the vessel's shoulders. Clay probably NB1. The surface of the vessel is leveled and covered with a layer of engobe, and then polished. Vessel colour - red. Complete vessel, very well preserved. c. 2686–c. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom, Edfu. Vessel; height 4.2 cm; diameter rim 21.1 cm; diameter shoulders 21.1 cm., A rounded shallow bowl with a worn, textured surface in shades of reddish-brown and terracotta, showing patches of lighter beige and white wear, floating against a flat gray background.
