Medum type bowl. Medum type bowl with characteristic carination under the rim. Rounded bottom. Straight rim, slightly flaring. Narrow, sloping shoulders. The diameter of the rim is smaller than the diameter of the vessel's shoulders. Clay probably NB1. Surface leveled and covered with a layer of engobe, then polished. Vessel color - red. Complete vessel, very well preserved. c. 2686–c. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom, Edfu. Vessel, height 4.2 cm, diameter 21.1 cm rim, diameter 21.1 cm shoulders., A single shallow, rounded clay bowl with a slightly raised rim sits centrally against a plain background; the bowl shows a weathered surface with scratches, patches of lighter wear, and small pits, and the visible colors include terracotta, light brown, pale beige, and hints of gray.
