Conical shape, tapering towards the bottom, irregular, widest approx. 3/4 of the height. Narrow, slightly sloping shoulders. Short, wide neck. Rounded, slightly flaring spout. Pointed bottom. Smooth surface. Color light red. Made of Nile clay NB2 Vienna System. In the lower part of the belly there are remains of a hieratic inscription in black. Quite well preserved; rim slightly damaged. Comparative material cited; earlier dated to the 4th–5th Dynasty Old Kingdom, ca. 2686–2181 BC. Find site: Edfu.
