Shallow bowl of rounded, asymmetrical shape with a rounded, flaring, irregular rim. Surface is level; lower part finished to approximately half its height with a knife or similar tool. Slightly above the middle, a horizontal line likely from placement on a stand. Dark red clay; complete. From Edfu, local workshop. Old Kingdom, ca. 2686–2181 BC. Dimensions: height 7.2 cm, rim diameter 26.2 cm., A shallow, curved clay vessel displayed against a plain gray background, showing a rough, textured surface with visible tool marks and small pits; the vessel is primarily terracotta brown with variations including lighter beige and slightly darker brown areas, and there are hints of reddish and grayish tones in some spots.
