Stamp seal with a depiction of a bull's head. Eastern Cypriot, stamp seal with a full, arched handle with a horizontally drilled hole. On its rectangular base is carved a schematic bull's head with small ears and long, curved horns, between which is a jug with a triangular belly and a long, narrow neck with a handle. On either side of the bull's muzzle are carved short arrows with triangular heads pointing downwards—possibly a simplified representation of snakes. The whole is framed with beadwork. Cypriot glyptics; bull heads iconography. 14th–13th century BC, Late Bronze Age c. 1450–1250 BC. Cyprus. Seal. Height 3.2 cm, width 5.4 cm, depth 3.5 cm., A worn dark object with an irregular rectangular shape and rounded corners, showing a smooth, slightly glossy surface with patches of lighter abrasion and scuff marks; the object has a recessed central area forming a shallow cavity and a raised rim around it, with small areas of brownish discoloration and faint hints of lighter gray where the surface is worn; overall colors visible include black, dark gray, brown, and small touches of lighter gray.
