Winged scarab; flat-bottom scarab with attached wings right wing possibly completed or chipped glaze; mummiform motif; scarab amulet; Late Period, Egypt, 664–332 BC; height 6 cm, width 15.5 cm, depth 1 cm., An object resembling a spread-winged scarab composed of a central rounded body and two elongated wing-like pieces, all connected with short pieces of twine; the surface shows a mottled mix of bright turquoise blue and darker teal with areas of worn, sandy beige and gray; the left wing is predominantly bright blue with incised feather-like lines and patches of sandy beige wear, the right wing transitions from teal into a muted gray-blue with similar incised lines and slight surface encrustation, and the central body block is a richer turquoise with darker speckling and small worn beige spots, while the twine is a natural beige color.
