Ushabti, Mummy-shaped funerary figurine shabti standing on a base, back supported by a pillar/pilaster. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over left; both hands holding hoes. A bag is on the back, slung over the left shoulder on a single string. Wearing a three-part smooth wig, the back strand longer than the front strands. Long, straight, wide beard; large eyes, wide nose, mouth set in a grimace, very large ears. No inscription. Late Period, Egypt, 664–332 BC. Height 7.7 cm, width 2.1 cm., A tall, narrow statuette shown in profile against a plain background, rendered in greenish-blue tones with areas of paler and darker green; the figure stands on a small rectangular base and has a long, slender body with a straight posture; the head is rounded with visible facial features in low relief and a headdress or hair that falls down the back; the arms are bent and held close to the torso with hands resting near the abdomen; the surface shows a weathered, slightly rough texture with subtle discoloration and traces of lighter and darker patches in green, blue, and pale beige.
