Sculptural model — head of Nectanebo I or II. Sculpture model of a ruler's head in full relief attached to a flat slab background fragmentarily preserved on the right. The ruler wears a nemes covering half the forehead, decorated at the front with a uraeus whose body is curled in a horizontal zigzag similar to a figure-eight with a straight tail. The nemes bears twisted ram's horns. The face is oval and plump with rounded chin and cheeks; small mouth with upper and lower lips of equal width and slightly upturned corners; long nose; small, close-set, slightly slanting eyes with upper and lower eyelids highlighted by thin lines; wide eyebrows. Very careful modeling with precisely executed details; auxiliary lines visible on the back. With base. Height 13 height 11 cm, width 9 cm, depth 5 cm, weight 0.338 kg. 380–343 BC; Late Period, 30th Dynasty reign of Nectanebo I or II; Egyptian sculpture., A weathered stone fragment with an irregular top edge and a roughly triangular protrusion on one side, showing a textured surface with shallow incised grid lines and a round hole near the center; the stone displays a range of beige, tan, light brown, and off-white tones with small darker brown and black spots, and it rests on a neutral gray background.
