Fragment of a grave brasier, 2nd half of the 5th century, Etruria; height 30.5 cm, width 11.5 cm, depth 2 cm., An upright metal object photographed against a plain light gray background, consisting of a vertical shaft with a decorative animal-shaped top and a rounded perforated base; the top is formed like a stylized creature with a head, open mouth, ears, and a sinuous body that branches into curved limbs, showing a mottled greenish patina; the shaft below the animal has areas of brown rust and rough texture with irregular patches and a few darker corroded sections; the lower portion expands into a circular flat element with four rounded lobed openings, also displaying a greenish surface with spots of brown and darker discoloration.
