Pine cone-shaped cippus, classified Gallo-Classical scenography, architectural element of sepulchral funerary architecture, acanthus ornament, Etruria Italy origin, cippus with echinus-shaped base from which a double acanthus wreath topped with an egg-shaped element grows. 4th–3rd century BC, Praeneste and Etruria Italy provenance, height 32.3 cm, width 15.2 cm, weight 6.9 kg., A sculpted object resembling a pointed, egg-shaped top mounted on a decorative base is centered against a plain background, with visible surface texture that appears rough and pitted; the object shows shades of white, off-white, gray, and subtle beige in its weathered material, and the background is a uniform medium gray.
