Eyes large, open, set deeply; thick upper and lower eyelids; outer and inner eye corners at same level; convex eyeballs with dimpled pupils. Eyebrows cylindrical, sloping toward the temples. Forehead high, convex above the nose, slightly sunken above the eyebrows. Hair lush, wavy, parted above the forehead and combed over the temples, revealing the lower parts of the ears. Head covered with a veil. Head in semi-profile. 1st half of the 4th century BC, Athens.
