Offering table, Square offering table with a protruding spout. In the center is a cartouche-shaped recess, while on its sides are two relief hes vases with spouts from which water pours. Below are four round loaves of bread. Cartouches. 300 BC–350 AD, Meroitic Period. Faras. Height 9.2 cm; width 32.28 cm., A rectangular carved stone plaque with an irregular top edge showing weathered, rough texture and visible tool marks; the stone is mainly reddish-brown with areas of darker brown and faint gray. The carving includes a central oval recessed cavity framed by raised, rounded borders, flanked by two symmetrical vase-like or tapered vertical forms on either side, each with horizontal incised bands and flat tops. Below the central cavity is a row of rounded, petal-like motifs contained within circular outlines, and vertical fluted or ribbed elements appear above the plaque near the top center. The overall surface shows chips, worn edges, and subtle variations of reddish-brown, brown, and gray tones.
