Traces of yellow polychrome are preserved on the surface. c. 1479–c. 1425 BC; New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty possibly Thutmose III. Findspot: Buhen, bas-relief architectural element. Height 31 cm, width 60 cm, depth 52 cm, weight 143.5 kg., A large, irregularly shaped rock with rough, weathered surfaces sits against a plain background; the rock shows a palette of beige, tan, light brown, gray, and hints of off-white, with textured pits, grooves, and layered edges across its top and sides, and shadows beneath it that create a subtle darker gray contrast on the background.
