Traces of yellow polychrome are preserved on the surface. c. 1479–c. 1425 BC; New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty possibly Thutmose III. Findspot: Buhen, bas-relief, architectural element; height 31 cm, width 60 cm, depth 52 cm; weight 143.5 kg., A large rectangular block of rough textured stone fills the frame, with an uneven top edge and slightly rounded corners; the surface shows weathered grooves, pits, and layered striations. The stone displays a range of earthy colors including beige, tan, light brown, sandy yellow, and areas of pale gray and off-white. The background is a flat medium gray, and there is a faint shadow beneath the block.
