Ushabti fragment, mummy-shaped figurine; fragment of the legs preserved from the knees down. On the back there is a pilaster; the feet on a base. Imprinted hieroglyphs in five bands around the legs. Ushabti used as grave goods. Ptolemaic Period, 332–30 BC. Tell Atrib. Materials/dimensions: height 7.2 cm, width 3 cm., A small worn rectangular object with rounded edges is shown against a gray background; its surface is textured with small pits and irregularities and displays a worn pale greenish-beige color with areas of light beige and off-white; a small rough patch of tan fabric is attached to one corner, and there are smudges and darker gray marks on the surface; the object appears chipped at one edge, revealing a lighter interior, and a faint shadow is cast beneath it.
