Amphora, Cyprus; large amphora with two horizontal handles, rounded shoulders, and a neck narrowing in the middle, ending with a profiled rim. Geometric motifs; decoration in red and black: on the neck—sets of lines, stripes, vertical lines, and triangles; on the belly—black lines and stripes. Cypriot pottery, 850–750 BC. Vessel; height 64.2 cm, width 42.4 cm., A large pottery jar with a rounded body and a flared neck is shown against a plain gray background. The jar's surface is mainly beige with areas of darker tan and small discolorations. Several horizontal bands in black encircle the body, including pairs of thin black lines forming striped bands and broader solid black bands. The neck features decorative patterns with thin black vertical lines and a band of reddish color near the rim. A curved, dark brown handle arcs from the shoulder toward the neck, appearing worn and textured. The rim and base show darker brown and gray tones.
