Canteen, Cyprus. Cypriot ceramics, White Painted I . Canteen decorated with concentric circles. Vessel with a spherical, slightly flattened body width on one side 8.5 cm, on the other 7.3 cm and two vertical, cylindrical handles and a narrow neck. Slightly flaring spout reconstructed. Pinkish clay. Creamy engobe, black-brown decoration. On the handles, horizontal lines framed on the sides by thick lines, which are connected at the neck at the attachment point, while below the handles they intersect beneath the attachments. The two flattened sides of the body are decorated identically. Two sets of concentric circles, composed of four lines each: two narrow lines framed on both sides by wider lines. The outer line of the outer band overlaps the neck of the vessel and slightly extends over the handle mounts, widening in these places. The center of the inner band is filled with a Maltese cross motif. Good condition: reconstructed spout and upper half of the neck. Limescale deposits have been removed from the surface. Numerous abrasions, especially on the neck and handle mounts. 1050–950 BC Cypriot-Geometric Period I, Cyprus, vessel., A rounded ceramic vessel with a narrow neck and two looped handles, showing a beige body with dark brown painted areas; the neck and handles are predominantly dark brown with worn beige patches, and the front face features concentric dark brown circular bands and a central dark brown wheel-like motif against the beige surface.
