Terracotta figurine of Eros with a goose. Terracotta; figurine of a standing Eros molded from a mold. The figure, positioned frontally, slightly leaning back and facing left, stands on a low rectangular base. On the left he leans against a small column; on the right he holds a goose by the neck. The left hand, clasped at the elbow, rests on the top of the column and holds a short cloak halfway up. The cloak, fastened with a fibula over the right shoulder, covers the chest and forms folds and flows along the small column. Hair arranged in curls, covered in the upper part by a high diadem. Outstretched wings with straight, defined feathers slightly tilted back. Scratches faded, traces of polychromy. 2nd half of the 1st century BC, Asia Minor. Figurine; height 14 cm, width 10.2 cm, depth 3.4 cm, weight 0.18 kg., A weathered beige-brown sculpted object with a rough, textured surface and a rounded hollow near its upper center; the top has a form suggesting two wing-like protrusions and a central rounded element, and the lower portion broadens into an irregular rectangular base with signs of wear and small chips; visible colors include beige, brown, pale tan, and hints of muted reddish areas.
