Terracotta figurine of Eros with a goose. Terracotta, figurine from a mold, 2nd half of the 1st century BC, Asia Minor. Figurine of a standing Eros positioned frontally, slightly leaning back and facing left, standing on a low rectangular base. He leans on a small column at his left and holds a goose by the neck at his right. The left hand, clasped at the elbow, rests on the top of the column and holds a short cloak halfway up; the cloak, fastened with a fibula over the right shoulder, covers the chest and forms folds along the column. Hair arranged in curls, covered in the upper part by a high diadem. Outstretched wings with straight, defined feathers, slightly tilted back. Scratches faded, traces of polychrome. Height 14 cm, width 10.2 cm, depth 3.4 cm, weight 0.18 kg., A small weathered sculpture of a seated winged figure on a rectangular base, rendered in earthy tones of beige, brown, pale pink, and hints of gray; the figure has a rounded head with a headdress, textured wings extending sideways, a draped torso and visible legs, and there is an adjacent rounded form and a vertical support beside the figure, all shown against a flat gray background.
