Terracotta figurine of Eros with a goose. Figurine of a standing Eros: the figure, positioned frontally, slightly leaning back and facing left, stands on a low rectangular base. On the left he leans against a small column; on the right he holds a goose by the neck. The left hand, clasped at the elbow, rests on top of the column holding a short cloak halfway up. The cloak, fastened with a fibula over the right shoulder, covers the chest and forms folds and flows along the small column. Hair arranged in curls, covered in the upper part by a high diadem. Outstretched wings with straight, defined feathers are slightly tilted back. Scratches faded; traces of polychromy. Terracotta, from Asia Minor; 2nd half of the 1st century BC. Figurine from a mold. Height 14 cm, width 10.2 cm, depth 3.4 cm, weight 0.18 kg., A weathered stone or clay object rests on a smooth gray surface against a neutral gray background, showing a rough, textured surface with irregular shapes and worn edges; the object has a central rounded protrusion with a ring-like formation and flanking wing-like extensions, all displaying a mix of earthy beige and brown tones with patches of pale pink and muted orange, along with areas of lighter off-white and faint grayish discoloration.
