Bowl, unknown Northern Mesopotamian workshop, Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC / Early Dynastic III period, deep clay bowl with a rounded, slightly flattened, carelessly thickened bottom from which the walls emerge in an arched line. Upper walls slightly inclined toward the center; straight low rim distinguished by a carelessly engraved line on the outside. Material: clay; function: vessel/tableware; type: bowl. Origin: Northern Mesopotamia Al-Jazira, Khabur Basin, Tell Jassa el Gharbi Northeastern Syria. Dimensions: height 8.7 cm, width 14.4 cm., A simple rounded bowl with a matte, textured surface showing a mix of gray, beige, tan, and muted brown tones, with subtle variations and mottled patches across its exterior and interior; the rim appears slightly irregular and worn, and the surface shows faint striations, small pitting, and a few hairline cracks, all set against a solid dark gray background.
