Bowl, unknown Northern Mesopotamian workshop, Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC. Miniature bowl with a narrow rounded and missing bottom and a straight rim; arched walls terminating in a straight rim. Clay vessel, miniature, height 3 cm, width 5 cm. Origin: Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin, Tell Jassa el Gharbi North-Eastern Syria, Al-Jazira region. Early Dynastic III period, c. 2600–ca. 2350 BC., A roughly hemispherical object with a textured, weathered surface in shades of light brown, tan, and reddish-brown sits against a flat gray background, showing irregular edges, small pits and scratches, and subtle variations in color and surface roughness across its curved exterior.
