Bowl, unknown Northern Mesopotamian workshop; Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC / Early Dynastic III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC. Miniature bowl with a narrow rounded and missing bottom and a straight rim; arched walls terminating in a straight rim. Clay vessel; miniature vessel. Origin: Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin, Al-Jazira Syria/Iraq. Found at Tell Jassa el Gharbi north-eastern Syria. Height: 3 cm; Width: 5 cm., A roughly hemispherical clay bowl with a coarse, weathered surface in shades of tan, light brown, and beige, showing patches of darker brown and faint reddish discoloration near the lower edge; the bowl has an uneven rim and visible pits, scratches, and textured irregularities across its exterior, set against a uniform gray background.
