Bottle with a bulging, regularly ovoid belly with a rounded bottom, a low narrow neck and a thickened, slightly inclined spout. On the belly, at one-quarter of the vessel’s height, a shallowly engraved potter’s mark in the form of a single sinusoidal-zigzag vertical line. Clay vessel; potter’s marks. Origin: Northern Mesopotamia Khabur Basin, Tell Jassa el Gharbi north-eastern Syria. Height 34.6 cm; width 29.4 cm., A large rounded pottery vessel with a narrow neck and flared rim fills the frame, showing a rough, weathered surface with visible scratches and irregularities; the vessel is primarily shades of beige and pale tan with areas of darker brown and muted gray, and it sits against a solid medium gray background.
