Thick-walled vessel with a rounded bottom and a bulging belly with short, arched shoulders merging into a low neck terminating in a slightly inclined straight spout. Tell Abu Hafur northeastern Syria; Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin. Vessel; height 15 cm, width 13.2 cm, rim diameter 6.9 cm., A roughly spherical clay vessel with an irregular broken rim, showing a cracked and chipped surface; the exterior is mostly light brown with areas of darker brown and some lighter pale spots, and the interior and rim edges appear dark gray to black; the background is a flat medium gray.
