Early Jazira III / Early Dynastic III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC. Tell Abu Hafur northeastern Syria; Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin. Vessel; height 15 cm, width 13.2 cm, rim diameter 6.9 cm., A roughly spherical object with a textured, weathered surface in tan and beige tones, featuring a large irregular dark gray to black patch and several smaller dark marks; the surface shows cracks, pits, and rough areas with hints of white speckling, set against a flat medium-gray background.
