Thick-walled vessel with a rounded bottom and a bulging belly with short, arched shoulders merging into a low neck terminating in a slightly inclined straight spout. ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC; Tell Abu Hafur northeastern Syria, Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin. Vessel; height 15 cm, width 13.2 cm, rim diameter 6.9 cm., A round ceramic vessel viewed from above with a large irregular opening and a cracked rim, showing rough, weathered surface textures; the vessel displays shades of beige and gray with darker charcoal-gray areas around the rim and interior, and a deep black interior against a smooth medium-gray background.
