Ring with a scarab and a cryptogram of Amun. Amun mythology, ankh iconography, plant decorations; jewelry, Egyptian art, goldsmithery. The underside of the base is engraved: a bull visible in right profile with the ankh sign above it; in front of the bull on the right side is a tuft of vegetation. At the bottom, a double horizontal line interrupted by three lines — probably a cryptogram of the name Amun. c. 1550–c. 1295 BC; New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, Egypt. Scarab amulet ring., A gold ring with a smooth, rounded band and an oval bezel containing a translucent greenish-blue gemstone engraved with a small animal figure and simple linear designs; the ring is shown against a neutral light gray background, and the visible colors include gold and greenish-blue.
