Terracotta figurine of a woman, unknown Boeotian workshop. Female terracotta, mold-pressed figurine. Standing woman in a long chiton. Head set on a thick neck. Oval face with a large nose and almond-shaped eyes. Arms bent at the elbows, forearms raised with hands pressed against the shoulders. Right hand holds a cylindrical object probably a fragment of a longer element. Traces of brown and red polychrome. Condition: left hand broken off, surface worn. Ca. 550 BC. Boeotia. Figurine; height 23 cm, width 7 cm., A standing, human-shaped figure viewed from the back with a rounded head and broad shoulders tapering to a flared base, showing a worn, mottled surface in shades of beige and brown against a smooth gray background.
