Vessel in the shape of an animal, unknown Cypriot workshop. Fantastic animal-shaped vessel with a long thin neck ending in a triangular, slightly flattened head. Eyes marked by depressions; oblong flat ears. Geometric decoration covers the entire surface: at the widest point a band of zigzag filled with a checkered pattern; herringbone stripes radiate at right angles front and back from this band; beneath these are wavy paint stripes. Series of thin lines on the neck and a hole in the front under the neck. Late Bronze Age II, 1900–1600 BC, Cyprus. Vessel; height 10.7 cm, width 12.5 cm, depth 6.8 cm., A rounded ceramic vessel with a narrow spout and a few short rounded feet, shown against a plain gray background. The vessel surface is mainly tan and light beige with areas of warm reddish-brown. There are several painted wavy and zigzag bands in a darker brown-red color encircling the body and extending toward the neck, along with a few linear hatched motifs near the shoulder. The spout has faint horizontal banding in similar brown-red tones. The vessel shows a slightly weathered, uneven surface texture with small spots of darker discoloration.
