Stone vessel, stone, in the shape of a bird's nest with flat broad shoulders and a small unbordered spout opening diameter 6.1 mm, walls narrowing in an arch toward a flat undivided foot; ca. 2890–2613 BC, Early Dynastic Period, 2nd–3rd Dynasty, Egypt; vessel; height 6.5 cm, width 15.3 cm, weight 1.0 kg., A smooth, rounded stone bowl with a low, wide profile sits against a plain background; its surface shows a marbled pattern of creamy beige and light tan mixed with patches and streaks of dark gray and black, with subtle areas of brownish discoloration and faint hairline cracks, and the lighting creates soft highlights and gentle shadows along its curved contours.
