Amulet - plaque with deities: Isis, Nephthys and Horus. Amulet in the shape of a plaque with a triad of deities standing on a base: in the centre Horus, on the left Isis, on the right Nephthys. Back of the plaque is flat. Egyptian deities, hieroglyphs; lock of youth iconography. Late Period, 664–332 BC, Egypt. Amulet plaque, height 4 cm, width 3 cm., A small rectangular relief sculpture showing a group of three standing humanlike figures carved in shallow high-relief and linked by holding hands; the central figure is slightly shorter and more rounded while the two flanking figures are taller and wear tall headpieces, and all three display simplified facial features and visible torsos and limbs. The surface shows a muted pale green color overall with patches of brown and tan staining and some areas of darker discoloration; the material has a slightly glossy, crackled texture and there are small areas where the underlying brownish core is exposed. The base is flat with worn corners and the background behind the figures is recessed and similarly colored.
