Oval, rather full face; almond-shaped, slightly slanting eyes with upper eyelids marked by a double incision. Eyebrows weakly marked, sloping slightly downwards toward the temples. Wide nose; protruding mouth with recessed corners. Ears in the form of two loops. Back of the head smoothed, with a base. Ptolemaic period probably reign of Ptolemy II, Egypt. Sculpture model; materials not specified. Height 13.5 cm, width 10.5 cm, depth 9.5 cm, base 19.5 cm, weight 2.59 kg., A roughly triangular stone block with an irregular, weathered surface sits against a smoother rectangular support; the stone shows a mix of beige, tan, light brown, gray, and pale orange tones with patches of darker gray and subtle mottling, while the support behind it appears off-white to cream.
