Figurine of the falcon Sokaris Horus, a painted Egyptian sculpture: a falcon stands on a thick rectangular base, tail resting on the back edge. The bird's head is slightly raised with a long curved beak; the body is elongated with wings slightly plastically defined in their upper part and merging with the tail at the lower part. The head is black on the sides and back; the front of the head is yellow with a black diagonal check. The eye is painted white and black; a white stripe encircles the neck. Wings are black and red; bird legs show red and black lines. Inscription/subject: Sokaris mythology. Date: 664–30 BC Late Period–Ptolemaic. Medium: sculpture. Dimensions: height 24.3 cm, width 20.5 cm. Creator: unknown., A weathered small statue of a bird-headed figure standing on a rectangular base, with a tall, elongated torso and a rounded head resembling a bird's beak; the surface shows worn and chipped areas with textured, rough patches and traces of painted decoration. The object displays a palette of beige and light brown ground tones with darker brown and reddish-brown areas, along with some black markings on the legs and base; mottled creamy and tan highlights appear where the surface is abraded. The legs are slender and straight, extending down to claw-like feet painted dark, and the base is rectangular and similarly worn with an uneven surface. The background is a flat gray color.
