Mentuemhat's funeral cone, Mentuemhat ca. 700–650 BC. Clay cone with hieroglyphs; on the base a hieroglyphic inscription arranged in four lines. Inscriptions include name Nesiptah. Late Period, Western Thebes grave 34 on Asasipha, cone grave. Height 8.5 cm, width 12 cm, weight 0.628 kg. Davies-Macadam, Corpus No. 486, 664–332 BC., A round, flat object with a rough, textured surface in shades of brown and tan, showing a pattern of incised lines and shallow carved shapes arranged in horizontal bands across its face; the edges are irregular and slightly worn, and there is a small rectangular piece of material affixed near the top edge; the background is a smooth, neutral gray.
