Amulet — weight of the menit necklace of the priest Achpet; menit weight with a central column of hieroglyphic inscription; hieroglyphs; priestly necklace weight; maker, Achpet ca. 664–404 BC; Late Period, Egypt 664–332 BC; amulet; height 8.7 cm, width 3.5 cm., A single vertical object with a rounded bottom and a narrower rectangular top sits against a neutral gray background; the object is primarily a muted turquoise-green with areas of lighter and darker greenish-blue and small pale spots, and it has a central vertical recessed strip bordered by raised edges containing a series of carved shapes and markings; the surface shows a slightly rough, pitted texture and worn edges with subtle beige and off-white wear at some high points.
