Figurine of Hermes Cryophorus, Statuette of Hermes Cryophorus striding to the right, carrying a goat on his back. His legs are decorated with wings. His face is framed by stubble and a pointed beard. With his left hand, he holds the goat's hind leg under his chin. The whole is depicted in a manner characteristic of the Archaic period: legs in profile, torso and head frontally. The god is depicted wearing a himation draped like a shawl over his shoulders, the ends falling down the sides. He wears a hairstyle with curls held above his forehead. Hermes strides on an altar, and his legs are depicted in relief against its background. In his bent left hand, he holds a caduceus. The whole is set on a small, rectangular base. 490–460 BC previously dated 500–490 BC; revised by analogy, Boeotia. Terracotta figurine; height 19.5 cm, width 9 cm, depth 4.5 cm, weight 0.28 kg., A carved stone figure in beige and light tan tones stands against a flat gray background, depicting a robed person with a rounded head covering and a draped garment that reveals a muscular torso and limbs; the figure appears to hold an object near the chest and has one arm bent with a hand near the waist, while a draped animal form rests over the shoulders and head, its limbs and rounded body visible; the sculpture shows textured surface variations with lighter and darker beige speckling, smooth worn areas, and a rectangular base supporting the figure.
