Idol, Female figurine, modeled flat, widens towards the bottom to create an oval base, concave underneath. Shoulders have horizontal keel-like projections that merge into a narrow, long, cylindrical neck continuous with the head. Head is covered with a polos; a small curled volute touches the polos and beneath it is a projection like a bird's beak stylizing the face. The volute and projection are glued on. Linear decoration in black paint. Hair strands marked with a wavy line: three falling down the back, two over the shoulders. Traces of transverse lines on the volute. Three lines on each shoulder. The bust has a linear ornament of two wavy lines, two straight lines, and three dotted lines alternating. From the waist, three longitudinal wavy lines run down both sides; between them are two faint straight longitudinal lines curving toward the side. At the widening base is a transverse line from which radiating lines emphasize the oval base. The back is undecorated. Faint traces of brown paint. Dated to the 6th century BC previously dated to the 1st half of the 6th century BC. Provenance: Boeotia. Figurine; height 16.4 cm, width 7.7 cm, depth 3 cm, weight 0.11 kg., A tall, narrow sculpted object standing upright with a flared base and a slightly widened top, made of a textured, weathered material in shades of tan, beige, light brown, and darker brown streaks, showing uneven surface wear and small chips; its shaft is elongated and tapers gently upward, featuring a protruding small rounded knob about midway and a curled spiral form near the top on one side, with faint mottled darker markings and patches of lighter cream along its length, all photographed against a smooth neutral gray background.
