The man is wearing a loincloth and a cloak covering the left side of the body. The left arm is bent at the elbow, and the hand rests on the right cheek. The right hand holds the cloak on the left shoulder. The face is covered by a caricatured mask with a beard. Preservation condition: fragment of the cheek, left hand, and left calf is imprinted. 332–30 BC; Hellenistic period, Greece, sculpture, height 18.2 cm., A weathered stone figure seated on a block-like base, showing a human form with a rounded head, indistinct facial features, one arm bent across the chest and the other resting by the side, legs bent at the knees with one foot projecting forward; the surface is rough and eroded with patches of pale beige, light brown, muted reddish-brown, and traces of greenish-gray, set against a solid medium-gray background.
