Doll with movable limbs, terracotta, made of terracotta. The doll depicts a woman in a short, pleated chiton and a bonnet; in her right hand she holds an instrument resembling castanets. The figure's oval head, directed slightly upwards, is set on a long, rather thick neck compared to the rest of the body. Lush curls protrude from under the headdress. The figurine's movable limbs are long compared to the rest of the body. 4th century BC, Attica object reported to come from Italy. Figurine, toy. Height 18.9 cm, width 8 cm, depth 3.5 cm, weight 0.13 kg., A small weathered figurine of a standing human figure with articulated shoulders and separate arms, shown against a plain neutral background. The figure wears a textured short tunic with layered folds and a belt-like section at the waist, and has short hair styled close to the head. The left arm is extended outward with a slightly bent elbow and an open hand, while the right arm hangs downward with a relaxed hand. The legs are straight with bare feet. The surface of the figurine shows areas of wear and small patches of residue. Visible colors include beige, light tan, off-white, and pale gray, with the background in a muted gray-beige tone.
