She wears a long chiton and a himation covering the head, lower face, and upper torso. Both arms are bent — right hand placed in front on the breasts, left behind on the back. Probably a masked dancer. Condition: base stamped, head glued. 3rd century BC, Tanagra Greece. Sculpture. Height 15.9 cm, width 4.8 cm., A worn statue of a standing figure draped in long flowing garments, shown in profile and facing left, with a smooth rounded head and a wrapped cloth over the head and shoulders; the surface shows textured weathering and small chips, and the base is flat and reflective. The visible colors are shades of brown, tan, beige, gray, and a muted clay tone, set against a solid mid-gray background.
