Dressed in a long chiton and himation covering the head, lower face, and upper torso. Both arms bent: right hand placed in front on the breasts, left behind on the back. Probably a figure of a masked dancer. Condition: base stamped, head glued. 3rd century BC, Tanagra Greece. Sculpture. Height 15.9 cm, width 4.8 cm., A single standing figure sculpted from a brown material against a gray background, wearing a draped garment that wraps across the torso and falls in long vertical folds, with one arm bent at the waist creating a gathered area of fabric at the hip and the other arm less defined, the head covered by a close-fitting hood that obscures facial details, surface showing slight irregularities and worn areas, and visible colors including shades of brown on the figure and solid gray in the background.
