Votive offering in the form of a phallus, votive offering, phalluses, 332–30 BC; Hellenistic period, Etruria, Caere; height 6 cm, width 15 cm, depth 6 cm, weight 0.21 kg, length 15.3 cm, A roughly elongated, irregularly shaped object with a smooth domed surface and a rough broken edge, shown against a uniform gray background; the object displays a pale beige to off-white color with a network of fine brownish scratches and markings across its top, darker brown and gray discoloration along one tapered end and near the rough broken area, and some small dark specks scattered on the surface; the broken edge reveals a crumbly, porous interior with mottled gray and beige tones.
