Amulet in the shape of a ram standing on a stand with curled horns and a short beard. The fur around the head is marked with simple engraved lines. Amulet; material unspecified. Late Period, Egypt, 664–332 BC. Dimensions: height 2.5 cm, width 4 cm, depth 1.1 cm., A close-up of a small carved object shaped like an elongated animal form, shown horizontally against a pale gray background; the object has a mottled surface in shades of olive green, yellow-green, brown, and a little tan, with areas of slightly glossy wear and small darker speckles; one end tapers into a rounded snout with a pale worn tip, and a protruding rounded ear-like shape near the front; the body shows incised linear grooves radiating from the head area and a few shallow rectangular depressions on the upper surface, with subtle textural pitting and smoother rounded contours toward the rear.
