Snake sarcophagus; Snake with raised head, coils on a rectangular reliquary-sarcophagus—probably the cobra Renenutet, although it may also be Atum. Late Period, Egypt, 664–332 BC. Earthenware figurine reliquary/sarcophagus. Height 3.3 cm; width 5.5 cm; depth 5 cm., A small dark greenish object with a rough, weathered surface sits atop a yellow-beige rectangular block of stone with lighter and darker marbling; the green object has an irregular hollow opening on one side and a raised, elongated form on top that curves upward, with visible texture and slight variations of darker and lighter green.
