Pin, unknown Luristan workshop. Pin with a thin, oval shaft transitioning into a flat head composed of an upside-down triangle base, from the center of which grows a rectangle that bisects into two small volutes. 8th–6th century BC; Iron Age II 1st half of 1st millennium BC. Luristan, Iran. Ornament. Height 18.1 cm; width 3.1 cm. Materials: bronze Luristan bronzes. Makers/attribution: unknown., An elongated metal object with a long slender pointed shaft topped by a wider flattened section that narrows into a decorative head; the head has a triangular shield-like body and two symmetrical curled spiral terminals. The surface shows irregular texture and wear with mottled tones of dark brown, dark green, and hints of black and verdigris. The background is a plain light gray.
