The Hor Hieroglyph - relief fragment, Horus mythology. Relief fragment with several preserved hieroglyphic signs. The preserved fragment features a schematic representation of a falcon the Hor sign shown in right profile, above which three ball-like signs and a triangular sign are preserved. Sections of the side frames remain. 3rd–1st century BC, Ptolemaic Period, Edfu. Inscription, bas-relief; height 17 cm, width 16 cm, depth 3 cm., A roughly triangular piece of coarse textured stone with an uneven, jagged edge, displaying a sandy brown surface with areas of darker brown and hints of gray; there is a patch of reddish pigment visible near the center of the stone.
